November Beginner Lessons
3 Week Programs
Looking to see if your child enjoys skiing or snowboarding without a huge commitment? Our new 3 week November programs are the perfect way to get your child into a winter sport before winter actually sets in! Children are broken into groups of similar ages and abilities and will learn and enhance age and ability-appropriate skills.
Little Leaf Gliders
Ages 3-4 Years
Looking to get your pre-schooler started with skiing? Not sure if they will like it? Test it out with our autumn ski classes! We created a small group class especially for those youngsters for an introduction to skiing. This 45 minute class will run weekly for 3 weeks. With a maximum of 4 kids per instructor, your little one is bound to love this class This class is for children who have never skied before or those who are unable to stop on their own ages 3-4 year.

Autumn Ski Sprouts
Ages 5-7 Years
Looking to see if your child enjoys skiing without a huge commitment? Sign them up for our autumn intro to skiing program! Children will come once a week for 3 weeks for a one hour group lesson for a introductory ski class. Groups will have a maximum of 6 children per instructor. This class is for children ages 5-7 years old who have never skied before or who are unable to stop or turn on their own.

Snowboard Starters
Ages 8-14 Years
Is your child interested in snowboarding this winter? Children will come once a week for 3 weeks for a one hour group introductory snowboard class. This class is for children ages 8-14 years old who have never ridden before or who are unable to turn on their boards yet. This class has a maximum of 8 children per instructor.

FAQs
Thanks to new snowmaking technology we implemented last year, Ski Ward is able to make snow at any temperature. Our Latitude 90 snowmaking system is stationed at the bottom of our teaching area. Last season we were able to open our carpet lift on October 23rd.
We only offer never-ever lessons in November. These early season lessons are designed for children who have never skied or snowboarded before or are unable to stop on their own. The goal is to introduce children to winter sports before it gets too cold to ease them into it!
