RETURNING for the 2011-2012 Season!

The adult racing league is the perfect opportunity to get back into racing.

PLEASE NOTE: As of January 18, we have revamped the layout of this program.

The following details now apply:

  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Gates will be set and unlimited runs may be taken on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm.
  • Lift Ticket or Season Pass is required but there is no additional registration fee.
  • Times will logged and posted for your review.
  • Just download the registration form to sign the liability waiver and check in at the customer service desk.

Days: Wednesday

Dates: League begins on January 4, 2012 and runs for 6 weeks.

Time: Nightly registration for bib #’s and lift tickets is from 5:30-6:30pm. Race begins at 6:30 pm.

General Information: Team registration is required in advance. Teams consist of 4 racers. Each team member must complete a registration form and sign the liability release. Race will consist of 2 GS runs. Results will be announced and prizes given away nightly after the race at our all NEW bar.

Cost: $130/person* includes evening lift ticket from 5:30-9pm OR $75/person*without lift ticket (for season pass holders).
*Lift ticket or season pass is required.

Team Info: 4 member teams: male, female or mix. Each member must be at least 21 years of age.

Substitution Policy: No substitutions will be permitted unless it is permanent. No team mate replacement after week #4 permitted.

Point System: Points are awarded based on the racers finish which will be figured out based on handicap percentage as compared to the pacesetter. Racers age and sex are taken into account for handicap. The top racer’s individual points from each team are added for a weekly team total, which is calculated over the six week race series.

Eligibility: Team members can be involved in the United States Ski Association (USSA). Team members cannot have been named to any national ski team, A, B or C squads.

Running Order: Running order will be generated according to the previous week’s finish, taking the best first and working down through the field. The first week teams will be picked randomly to create a running order. Please note: week 3 and 5 will be reverse running order. Racers who did not complete both runs (DNF) or were unable to compete for a week, will run according to their prior weeks finish.

Course Setting: The course will be a super slalom set by an experienced and qualified Ski Ward race staff.

Running of Courses: League racers may only ski on the race course that is set for the event. Skiing other race courses will not be allowed. No pre or post running of the race course is allowed. If you are found to be in violation you will be disqualified from that night’s race.
